Courage is Contagious.
Stand Up. Speak Out. Protect.
Injustice thrives in silence. We refuse to stand by.
Guardians United is a movement of everyday people committed to defending rights, protecting the vulnerable, and breaking the cycle of inaction. Through education, advocacy, and peaceful intervention, we empower individuals to stand up, speak out, and create real change—because courage is contagious.

From Frustration to Action
I never thought I’d witness a day when speaking up at a town hall could get you dragged out in zip ties. But when Dr. Teresa Borrenpohl was violently removed from a public meeting for simply using her voice, it sent a chilling message: Dissent is no longer welcome. It wasn’t just her—it was all of us. Watching the rise of white supremacist marches, town halls being shut down, and voices being censored, I felt something I know many others feel, too—frustration, helplessness, and the weight of wondering: “What can I do?”
For a long time, I believed I was just one person, and that signing petitions or calling representatives was the extent of my power. But then I started talking to friends, colleagues, and professionals—people I admire—who all felt the same way. We wanted to do more, but we didn’t feel empowered to act.
With a background in public relations and communications, I’ve spent my career helping organizations shape narratives and inspire action. I realized I could use those same skills to bring people together, amplify voices, and create a movement for those of us who refuse to stand by. So I founded Guardians United—not as a lone effort, but as a movement for those of us who refuse to stand by in silence.
Together, we can protect rights, defend each other, and ensure no one faces injustice alone..
